Axe

The Axe is a fundamental outdoor renovation tool in House Flipper, used primarily to chop down trees and cut through large pieces of fallen wood that block garden paths, obstruct building access, or clutter outdoor spaces on properties being renovated. In properties featuring overgrown or neglected gardens, the Axe is often the first tool used in the outdoor clearing phase, making room for new planting, landscaping, and the installation of outdoor features like patios and garden furniture.

Associated with the Gardener skill tree, the Axe benefits from perks that improve chopping efficiency, reduce the number of strikes needed to fell a tree, and increase the value of recovered timber materials. Experienced players with high Gardener skill levels can clear densely wooded sections of outdoor properties much faster than beginners, making the overall garden renovation process significantly more time-efficient. The recovered wood from chopped trees can also contribute to material resources in some game scenarios.

The Axe is particularly prominent in the Farm Flipper and Garden Flipper DLC content, where rural and suburban properties often feature mature trees, old orchard growth, and woodland encroachment that requires significant clearing before garden redesign can begin.
