Damaged walls require specific remediation using the Plaster Tool to fill, smooth, and restore the wall surface before painting or other finishing work can be applied. They appear in properties that have suffered from long-term neglect, water damage, physical impact, or poor previous renovation work.

Addressing damaged walls in House Flipper follows a specific sequence: damaged surface material must first be completely removed where necessary, then the Plaster Tool is used to restore a smooth, even wall surface, and finally the Paint Tool or Tiling and Paneling Tool is used to apply the desired finish. Players who skip the plastering step and attempt to paint directly over damaged surfaces will achieve poor finish quality scores.
